Diplomate Award ceremonies American Award of Oral Implantology 2014, Gala

The American Board of Oral Implantology (ABOI) is an independent organization that began in 1969 with the goal of certifying individuals at the highest standards of competency in diagnosis, dental surgery, and prosthetic treatment in the specialty of implant dentistry.

The ABOI is recognized by the American Board of Dental Specialties as certifying oral implantology and implant dentistry.

A Diplomate Award is for periodontists whose credentials have been verified, successfully completed examinations, and demonstrated specialized knowledge and skill.

Diplomate Award: International Congress of Oral Implantologists 2011

The International Congress of Oral Implantologist's (ICOI) mission is to provide dentists with an educational platform for implantology. Dentists can apply for ICOI educational courses and memberships to earn advanced credentials. 

There are three levels of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists:

  1. ICO Fellowship
  2. ICOI Mastership
  3. ICOI Diplomate

The dentist at William Lake Smiles, Dr. Rudy Wassenar has earned and received the highest level of ICOI Diplomate.

Misch International Implant Institute Fellowship Award 2009

The Misch International Implant Institute (MIII) has been setting standards and providing education in the implant industry for over 30 years. Dentists who earned the Implant Institute Fellowship Award from MIII received an inside look at modern techniques, newly revised literature, curriculums, topics, and help attribute to the success of graduates of the program.

Master International congress of Oral Implantology 2008

The International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) was founded over 40 years ago. ICOI is dedicated to providing education to dentists and their dental team to serve patients with the best dental implant techniques and services available today. 

ICOI is an association that consists of educational programs for general dentists, periodontists, surgeons, prosthodontists, endodontists, orthodontists, industry representatives, researchers, laboratory technicians, faculty members, pre and post-doctoral graduates of dental programs. 

Dr. Rudy Wassenar has been awarded a master's by the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Mastership Award Academy of General Dentistry 2007

The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) has been providing dentists with advanced education in oral health since 1952. 

The Academy of General Dentistry provides over 40,000 members with the support and resources they need to provide the best dental care and oral health to the public. 

Dr. Rudy Wassenar received his mastership award from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2007.
